I keep saying the food is so expensive here.. but food like this huge eclair is really cheap. At $1.39 only.. this eclair would take me a few days to finish.. because i don’t like sweet stuff.. and secondly .. i’m diabetic. So back home I can get chicken rice for $2.50 but for a plate of chicken rice here.. it prolly cost me $10.00. Back home an eclair like this would prolly cost me $3.50 but here it is cheap.

Food, Shopping & The Woman

Posted by crunchasaurus rex | Useful Links, Useful Tips | Saturday 7 June 2008 10:09 pm

Like any food blogger, shopping around for food is very important. Before we even eat in the restaurant, we do alot of read up and find reviews on the eatery and recommendation from other food bloggers. The same goes for shopping, we too look for comparison, information, review for the things we want to buy, from computer goods, gardening products, furniture, lingerie and of course the much loved jewellery that every woman must have.

A neat online resource is at Shopping.com, it helps consumers like you and I, no matter where we are find the information we need to compare before buying anything. And guess what..?? they have reviews on all the products I’ve just mentioned and I’m sure this is way easier than to go from one shop to another to compare prices and check out the availability like our grandmother used to do.
