Found some really pretty maple leave cookies at the local grocery store.  Every now and then. .they do come up with something really cute.. and colorful.  But this maple cookie definitely tasted like maple syrup.. but that’s to be expected right.  We could smell maple syrup .. even without opening it.  No special occassion when we saw this.. i guess.. it is just a Canadian thing eh.

For the last few weeks.. we have been invited for BBQs at friends and families.  One friend was going away. .and another had a son going to college.  But the last BB! for this summer.. is because of  used Harleys.  Yes..! one of the guys.. had some to sell, i think he is looking to get a new model .. before winter.  I’m looking forward to it.. well .. mostly because i love BBQs and secondly .. who can resist a trail ride around the estate with a Harley right..?

I don’t know about you .. but i sure missed those hotel cocktails that i had to attend every Tuesday.. because I was a management staff in the hotel i worked for.  These cocktails are meant to get to know your long staying guests.. and corporate clients.  You get to meet some very interesting people during these cocktails.. besides sampling those finger food that i loved.   But conversations were always interesting.. and some even asked to give you term life insurance quotes during these cocktails.  Yes..! yer right. some of our corporate clients are from the insurance industry.
