Mushroom Tofu Chicken Rice

Lke any parents, you want to feed our kids with the best.  I don’t profess to be a good cook nor a good wife.. but one thing for sure.. i know i’m a mom who wants what is best for my brat – nutrition wise.   I learned that the earlier your trained your kid with good eating habits.. the better it is for everyone.

As fussy as any kid may be.. i also learned that you can try to mix things around.. to get them to eat good.  Since my brat doesn’t like to eat meat a lot .. i cultivated .. the habit of her eating lots of tofu.. to subsitute for the meat.  And lucky for me.. she loves our chinese mushroom.. so that is great when i need to make her rice.  She doesn’t like her greens.. but she eats corns and carrots.  When i see the kids here in Canada.. being over weight.. and some mothers even wants to use  weight loss products, I squirm.  I wished i can say something.. but it’s a very sensitive subject.  What would you do..??

your food looks delicious, esp when i m on a diet rite now..lol… Every time I walk by those weight loss products in the store, it does kinda motivate me to get new… but luckily I never tried one before…rite now I am just gonna eat less and go to the gym twice a week…

That little square specks is tofu..(correct me if i’m wrong)..ang moh kids tends to be BIG probably due to too much junk food like burgers with lotsa french fries, deep fried stuff etc…If Chloe dislike greens, how about cabbage?

lucky u, getting chinese mushroom. I can only get fresh mushroom here and after some time I kinda miss our chinese mushroom. have u tried green peas, lettuce and spinach? they taste nice and dont need much preparation and cooking time. byw, pls dont go excessive on tofu cos i recently saw an article saying too much estrogen from soya beans will cause breast cancer. kinda weird cos i remember a few years back, soya bean is heavily promoted as healthy food. i dont know how reliable this piece of info is but moderation is the key.
