Hi MB,

just wanna share this with you...my father also has high blood sugar (extremely high indeed, which required daily medication). One thing that my mother has done for my father (aside from controling his sugar intake and encouraging for excercise) is making him a special juice everyday. "A raw potato juice"...yes, raw potato. Just clean the potatoes, and juice it with skins on. He needs to take 500cc per day. It has proven among our friends and family that this has help to lower the cholestral & blood sugar. Well, you can always add 1/2 of an apple to sweeten the flavors. Also, due to the high content of starch of the potatoes, you will need to drink the juice when it's fresh, otherwise, the startch will sink to the bottom. hope this helps,

Hi MB,

I was just about to say that exercise helps lower your cholesterol too. I know you're busy, but maybe if you take a walk here and there daily w/Chloe, it'll help? You can even swim. Swimming helps with lots of things. Maybe you can take Chloe for swimming lessons and swim for a bit yourself too. Also, oatmeal helps lower cholesterol too along with some other veggies that I can't seem to think of now.

You can also try soaking Chinese mushrooms in water over night and boil them. You can then drink and eat them. They help a lot as my parents used to do that. Good luck! :)

Hello Mb, the fish looks delicious. Why not try steaming it next time? Low oil, low salt and good for health. Have you tried taking DIY celery juice and five grain rice? It's good for controling cholestrol level and sugar level. Good luck!
