My Dream – A Cafe
My dream is to open a cafe with internet access brewing the best coffee and a lil’ snack place for reading, relaxing, for mothers to meet up and a place for kids to play at in a corner or another room. A place to support local artists and handmade goods and maybe some weight loss pills for me, since I will be sitting down a lot. A place that is non-profitable and just for pleasure. A place where any woman single or married to share their voices of their everyday life.
A place that is open from 10am to late at nite, a place where i can teach woman of all ages how to make money online and help them set up a blog and make them feel useful. Unfortunately, it will not be in the town i am in .. because ppl here don’t seems to be interested in it. I hope it is a place by the sea.. a place I can watch my grandchildren play in the beach. A place for quirky things .. a place for seashells and books. A place for ice cream and sandwiches. A place where food and drinks are cheap .. and no profit is allow. Ahhhh.. when will that day come..??

Aw, all of us have a dream to do things differently in the future. Maybe you can do some of this in your shop like sell handmade goods. You can probably set up a lunchtime/evening session once a week for mothers/single woman to meet up… There’s a knitting shop in London called “I Knit London”. Its a very small shop, and I think they have evening sessions where ppl just meet up and knit and have a chat. If they can achieve this, you can to!

Hi MB.My dream is quite similar to yours. My dream is to open a small select shop selling unique parallel import or japan hand made clothings , accessories from diifferent parts of the world. It will not be a select shop selling all the top and most trendy stuffs in town because there are too many such stores in Japan. I like the girly fashion and stuffs.It will be a place whereby you could get a a simple lacey ,off white A line dress , a lace ribbon hair accessory,lace flower head accessories, lace bracelet on the wrist , orange , pink leggings , navy sailor fashion etc. It will be a mix of girly, sexy , bohemian fashion. The demand might not be high because most of the ladies prefer sexy , trendy pratical clothings. If you would like to dress like a angel, a princess(simple classic version) you could find the right stuffs in my dream store.
I am never good in business and not a pratical person. lina I think you know my character lah. So sure close down lah.,

Wow! I miss ya and everyone on MB’s blog. As you gals know, I’ve been away traveling to HK for wedding related stuff and currently in Las Vegas attending the IRS Convention. Talk about information overload. I feel that my head going to pop any minute.
I truly admire you for it is very rare to find someone with such a GREAT heart who generous give their time to share with us TVB drama and advice on certain stuffs. It also entertaining to learn more about Chloe as she is such a cute girl and the daily activities that happen in your neighborhood.

Hi Lina. You are absolutely correct. sure chup lup lah. The reason was I do not know how to entertain customers lah. Aiyo,I won`t keep stuffs for myself only . You should know my motto in life leh , to make other ladies and myself pretty , presentable has always been a goal in my life. Women at different stages of age will have different kinds of beauty be it inner or external and the efforts to maintain , groom ,upgrade ,polish oneself(be it internal or external) and confidence are important assets to bring out and to enhance a woman beauty. As I have mentioned to u on the mail before, MB dream will come true because she has the assets(her personality,her profession, her connection etc) to make her dream comes true.She has worked hard all these yrs to attain all these assests. If this day were to come, let`s fly to Canada and support her. (hehhehe..). Honestly that is a great idea, I am currently travelling in Australia Sydney. There are alot of great coffee shops here. Coffee shops/ cafe’s are much higher in standard than they are in Toronto. I have had many great tasting cakes, biscuits, scones, and croissants here the past two weeks. I believe that if you ever wanna open ur own cafe, you must visit Sydney first. I have also been to Europe last year, their cafes and bakery are also really good, but somehow i find that its better here
