Look familiar..?? yes it sure does..! to me anyways.. when i first saw it.  You know when you are an expat – anything that looks remotely like home.. you go ga-ga over it.  But halt .. if you are like myself.. because even the turkish delights that i get from home.. is different here.  So when i saw this at the local bulk barn.. i didn’t jumped into it right away.. but stole a piece to eat.  And the verdict..?? totally different from what i expected.  Heng ahhhh.. !!! lucky i didn’t buy.

Not that ex.. but definitely won’t be worth it – afterall, can’t stomach .. how to eat right..?  would you eat something that doesn’t taste good..?? or not what you were expecting..??

This is a cheese calzone .. that you can get in our local bakery .. but this cheese calzone is supposedly to be healthy .. because the base is made of whole grain and not just your ordinary flour.  With cheese on top.. i don’t think it is Swiss cheese although it sure looked like it.. and i think they are like at $3.99.  I didn’t eat it.. but Katelynn did.. and she said it was not bad.  But this is the kind of food .. that I can get easily here..  but not the kinda food .. i am used too.. like chee cheong fun.  I think i still prefer my chee cheong fun.. what about you ..??

Corn muffin .. !  i haven’t had time for like 9 yrs ..!!!  i love the ones at Kenny Rogers.. back home.. and when i saw these at our local bakery store.. i went ga-ga.  Imagine my disappointment when these corn muffins didn’t taste anything like corn .. and weren’t soft.. and in fact had a really weird taste to it.  Disappointed ..?? is just mildly putting it.  At $0.50 for a small muffin.. very small.. i really didn’t mind paying for it.. but not being able to stomach it.. i couldn’t even finish half of it.. i bought 2 .. well.. sad.   Anyone got an easy corn muffin recipe..??
