Apple
You know that your kid is no longer a baby or a toddler anymore when she asked for an apple for dessert and not just any ordinary apple. It has to be an apple with skin peeled off.. and one must have it whole. Yes.. ! she is a big gal now.. if i must admit. She recently became an apple freak.. and insist on eating apples everyday… after dinner. Now if she carries on this way .. right up to her teenage year.. and eat junk food moderately, I guess I don’t have to worry about getting her any fat burner eh..??
So i’ve decided to get some pre-packed ones for her to bring to school.. but they only had the green apples for the last few weeks. So this mummy went on the internet to look at how one can keep the apple slices from turning brown… and pack them up in a small tupperware.
Yes..! she finished the whole apple and no .. we don’t force her to eat anything she doesn’t want.. but we gently encouraged her to.. and try and steer her in the right eating habits. Everything in moderation .. is what we taught her. Anyhow, for those who are not aware of this.. you can keep your apple slices from turning brown by using a small amount of lemon juice.. soak them in for 60 seconds .. and then you dry them up.. soak up the excess lemon juice.. and then put them in a tupperware.. or a plastic and seal it up.
