Pineapple Rice With A Twist

pineapple rice

As you all know .. we have to cook for chloe everyday.. and bring it to her. before we head to work.  Everyday, we would ask her.. what she wants for lunch.. and we do try .. to give her different food everyday… afterall, jelak right..?? if eat the same food everyday.  So today .. she wanted rice.. but she said.. only the “yellow rice” eh.    Talking about jelak .. i think i need to buy a new tv stand for the basement.

Anyhow, you know what she meant lah.. cannot eat yong chau fried rice from Mr Zhu you know..!! gotta eat yellow rice.. with baby corn.. and carrots and peas.  So yellow rice is pineapple rice lah.. so what to do.. mummy had to cook rice the nite before.. cool it first.. and then put it in the fridge overnite .. and when morning comes.. take it out .. and cool it again.. so that the fried rice wouldn’t turn mooshy.   As you all know .. frying rice is not as easy as it seems.  Alot of art into it.. and of course.. love.

No one can cook without love, so you see why .. timing is very important to me.. i cannot afford to even mess up .. and need to stick to the time table..  so that Chloe can eat and sleep on time.  So i’m glad that we’ve decided that I would look after her on my own since i’m so anal about the timing part.. hahahhaha!!!   Yes.. she loves the tofu..  i cook no meat in it.. so that we can add anything we want for meat.  For Chloe it’s chicken.. and for me.. it’s sweet and sour pork.  Ang moh..?? he ate it with cheese.. muahahhaha!!!
