So I made chicken rice the other day and since we had lots of the rice left – yours truly needs to eat them up and not waste them – like we taught Chloe – it’s not good to waste food.  But we ran outta chicken – so I did what i had to do – and make satay and peanut sauce to go with my chicken rice – and a good thing i had cucumbers left too.


When you lived abroad and very little ingredients to work with – you just have to make do and eat what you can find and improvise.  I’m always amused with the food i can come up with – to finish up what i cook.   What about you ?  those living overseas like myself – share, share lah.  Show pictures also can.

    Oooh, very nice… Still need to try out satay chicken… Tried to order it from the local Chinese takeout near my workplace, but they don’t make any more 🙁
