Can anyone guess where these fresh bread are from..?? A Hint..?? well.. it is touted as one of the healthiest place to have lunch, dinner and even breakfast.. with as little as 6 grams of fat.. and you can gobble them down.. without feeling guilty. Ok.. your turn now. Where are these fresh bread from..?? since they are baked on the spot.
Pasta anyone..??? Yes.. now that one has got Bulk Barn around.. you don’t have to worry about feeding 10 kids at home.. for you can buy them in bulk. But is it any cheaper.. buying from here.. as compared to your local grocery store.. like Sobeys..?? nope.. we made a comparison .. and we didn’t really find it cheaper. So I think i’ll stick to my local grocery store for now.. unless i want something fanciful and colorful for my pasta.
Yes.. you can also buy fruit punch powder .. in bulk. And you know what.. the westerners don’t really believe in drinking just plain water.. even kids are giving lots of these punch.. which i cannot imagine they are healthy at all. I am just very glad that the kid is not into this yet.
Yup.. scoop them into a plastic bag.. and store it in a container on your own.. when you get home.. or be like some here.. and used everything in one go.
Tea or coffee drinker..?? and can’t get enough of it..?? no worries.. ! Bulk Barn is here.. to satisfy your every craving for caffeine induce you. I kid you not.. they really have all sorts of tea and coffee here. But Tim Hortons still got lots of loyal customers.
A New Yorker claimed that he found a knife about 7 inch long in his foot long sandwich from Subway. Truly i cannot imagined that something could have happened.. especially you are right in front of the counter.. when they fixed your sandwich. Anyhow.. a lawsuit had been filed.. but Subway spokesperson isn’t saying anything. So when you are having any sandwiches.. please be careful.
Do you know why kids love McDonald’s so much..?? i seriously think it is the toys that makes the kids want to come to this fast food more than any fast food in any country. In Asia.. they have these Hello Kitty series.. and even adults are addicted not to the food.. but the toys..! And yours truly was one of the suckers..!
Had this for lunch.. and it was like $5.65 .. and bought at the waterfront. It wasn’t great.. but as you can see not much meat. But the worst part was.. as soon as i got home.. i had tummy ache..! ouch..! I donch really like too fatty chicken wings.. but this is really too skinny.
You can see we are definitely no short of meat at all. BBQ is a big thing here during the summer. As you can see every grocery store is already stocking up on all the meat stuff .. for BBQ. There are just so much to choose from. Prices varies .. according to the brand.

For those who are not aware of it .. pop is actually soft drinks .. like cola. The Canadians don’t call them soft drinks .. they called them pop. Even my 4 yrs old.. calls it pop. The amount of fast food and pop that the people in this town eat, one sees an obese kid way too often. Our babysitter loves eating pizza and pop, i had told her that if she doesn’t eat healthy really soon, even the top diet pills wouldn’t be able to help her. The amount of fast food consumed here is terrifying, I myself have never eaten so much fast food in my entire life except now.
Eat up .. and move along is the message that McDonald’s is telling their customers in England. Else risk getting fine ..! And I’m so not kidding. At 40 McDonald’s in England drive thru’ customers were given 45 mins to finish their meals and leave the parking lot before a $225 ticket is issued. Apparently this was brought about because people were abusing their parking privileges at the establishments. And if you do not pay the fine, the fee rises and McDonald’s will take you to court for it.
We see awful loitering outside and inside of our famous coffee place - Tim Hortons. Perhaps Tim Hortons should take a page outta what McDonald’s is doing ..?? Maybe that would keep the people from blocking the door at Tim Hortons.. and the awful cigarette butts all of the entrance of Tim Hortons.
This is only a summer thing with Macdonalds, just like their lobster sandwich. Every summer.. the Macdonalds here do try to bring in something new for limited period. Many years ago, when the American dollars were great.. we get alot of Americans coming over just because of the lobster sandwich. I kid you not..!! This Vanilla Ice Coffee just started about a week ago. But you have to make sure you tell them to give you more ice.. because the first 2 times i bought it.. it wasn’t that cold.. and quite sweet. So with more ice.. it actually tasted good. In anticipation of a hot summer.. this $1.39 Vanilla Ice Coffee is a great thing.
Another new thing for KFC, a meal for one consist of a miserable drumstick, a snacker, some fries, 4 cheesesticks and a drink. The cheeseticks were so-so .. and the snacker had mayo.. you can drown in it.. the fries were so-so too. Overall, a ok meal.. but i wouldn’t eat that again.. as it was about $6.99 + tax.. not really worth it.
