I’ve been to so many restaurants all over the world and know that different restaurants have different concepts of what they want to bring to their customers.  I know of one place in Asia where the restaurant seating was not the most comfortable because they didn’t want their customers to hang around too long.  Since there are so many kind of different restaurants and entrepreneurs these days, I know one place where you can get great restaurant furniture.

Affordable Seating supplies a wide range of quality restaurant seating for those who are in the food and beverage industry, and their prices are competitive.  What I noticed is that they offer well-designed and stylish seating from chairs and barstools to table tops and bases.  They have well trained staff to assist you and their delivery time is quick.  If you are in the business, looking to revamp your business or opening a new restaurant or even a cafe, here’s the place to start.

My best friend just wrote to me about celebrating the birthday of the great grandmother in a hotel and since she was 102 yrs old, the local newspaper covered the story of their 4 generations living under the same roof.  Yes.. ! it’s true!  the hotel was excellent .. because they had invited a lot of their older relatives and those from the community center for the celebration.. and guess what they gave these older folks as a door gift..??  You wouldn’t guess it .. i bet..! muahahha!!  Disposable Diaper !!!  now i wonder if that was being ingenious..?? or just simply rude..??  What do you think..??

I don’t know about you .. but i sure missed those hotel cocktails that i had to attend every Tuesday.. because I was a management staff in the hotel i worked for.  These cocktails are meant to get to know your long staying guests.. and corporate clients.  You get to meet some very interesting people during these cocktails.. besides sampling those finger food that i loved.   But conversations were always interesting.. and some even asked to give you term life insurance quotes during these cocktails.  Yes..! yer right. some of our corporate clients are from the insurance industry.

Food At Baby Shower

I get alot of baby shower invitations throughout the year ever since living in Canada. Baby showers weren’t exactly popular back home but in the west it is. Most baby showers that i go to are at the homes of the mummies but I had gone for one that was in a hotel.  Only a small group was invited.. so it kinda felt exclusive.. and the food was exquisite.  And guess what..?? the Executive Chef even came out to greet and chat with us.. and what do you know.. the Executive Chef was the husband… muahhahaha!

HouseKeeping In Hotels

On vacation and staying in any hotel, one must think that every hotel has a huge housekeeping department but truth be told, no executive housekeeper would agree with that statement because room attendants are hard to come by and good ones are even harder. It is hard work to be a room attendant, you are allocated a number of rooms to finish before your shift ends and therefore, each room is only allowed a certain amount of time for cleaning.

To help with cleaning the exterior of a hotel like window cleaning, a hotel usually contract a professional company like the Window Gang. By doing that, the hotel not only ensure that the room attendants are not over-stretch at work but the crew are fully insured and bonded with worker’s compensation, that way the hotel is not liable should an accident occurs. But that is not only the reason why a hotel would farm out their cleaning work, most importantly the crew is thoroughly trained and there is absolutely no need to supervise their work. A win-win situation for everyone working in the hotel.
